Notes must be in Cornell notes format with 2-3 questions in left column, vocabulary highlighted and respond to the EQ with a 5 complete sentence summary.

EQ 8: How do I build a successful Lantern?
Notes:
- All parts need to stay wet (at least leather hard- NOT DRY) until the end of the project .
- At the end, all parts will nbe stacked and dried together for balance and to ensure the best fit of all parts.
- Use the water spray bottle as needed and close bags tightly using twist ties at the end of each period.
- Before beginning you should make templates using paper, rulers and cardboard if needed.
- Slabs need to be dried enough so they do not bend before putting parts together.
- All holes or patterns (openings for light to shine through) should be at least 1/2" away from edges, or pieces will crack when they dry.
