Steps:
1. Create the foot
- Get new clay or wedge clay
- Roll a long coil as thick as your finger. Coil must be even and flexible- not dried out.
- Wind coil into a circle and smooth both the top and the bottom using a kidney tool.
- overlap the ends of the coil and cut through both
- score the bottom of the coil and the edges of the foot
- add slip and press together
- blend inside and outside of the first coil
- score, slip and blend first coil of each day
- all coils should continue to be finger thickness

- If pottery starts to sag or collapse, place outside in the sun for 5 minutes, or dry with hairdryer.
